“The word courage comes from the French word ‘coeur’, which means heart. True power proceeds not from force, but from love.”  Alan Cohen

WHAT IS TRUE POWER?

True power is not about control or domination. It is the ability to create peace, compassion, and harmony in your relationships—with your partner, children, friends, colleagues, and even those you might see as adversaries.

This kind of power is deeply humane, arising from within, and it inspires others to grow and realize their own potential. True power is not force. Force relies on domination or superiority, but those who embody authentic power see no value in being “better” than others—whether materially, mentally, or spiritually.

HOW TO RECLAIM YOUR TRUE POWER?

Reclaiming your power involves two essential steps.

First, you need to identify and transform the main obstacles that cause you to give away your power—for example, compromising too much, avoiding conflicts, being too nice, or failing to acknowledge your own needs.

Second, you need to confront and transform your shadow sides, reclaim your projections and judgments, and learn how to solve conflicts with maturity and responsibility.
This workshop is designed for those who believe in a better way—emerging leaders, peacemakers, and anyone committed to creating a world where power uplifts rather than oppresses.

WHY IS IT IMPORTANT TO INTEGRATE THE SHADOW?

C.J. Jung once said: To confront a person with his shadow is to show him his own light’.

We all have ‘shadow sides’ – the hidden parts of ourselves that we prefer to deny. These shadows often harbour fears and insecurities, and if they are not mastered, they can lead to conflict and power struggles. Much of the lust for ego dominance stems from our unresolved inner wounds.

This process is not about eliminating the shadow but accepting it and channelling its energy in a positive direction. When these fiery and powerful archetypes become integrated, they turn into invaluable allies that give you inner strength, clarity, empowerment, and a natural authority.

SEVEN ACTIONS TO BUILD TRUE POWER WITHIN

  1. Act with Integrity: Align your actions with your values and take responsibility for your choices.
  2. Own Your Shadow: Embrace the parts of yourself you may want to hide, including negativity and insecurities.
  3. Embrace Vulnerability: Accept your weaknesses and be honest about them.
  4. Speak Your Truth: Engage in honest conversations, even when it risks conflict.
  5. Take Responsibility: Stop blaming others for your problems and own your role in them.
  6. Avoid Gossip or Judgment: Refrain from projecting your insecurities onto others.
  7. Focus on What You Can Influence: Direct your energy toward matters, where your own actions can make an impact.

This workshop invites you to take the first courageous step to develop true power. Together we can become the kind of people who inspire hope and change the world – by changing ourselves first, in the spirit of Gandhi’s words: ‘Be the change you want to see in the world.’

“Awareness is your own power. And to depend on your own power brings a great freedom and a great authority and a great integrity. The mind is cut from the roots; soon it withers away. And the space that mind was occupying is no longer occupied by anything; it is now pure space. That is your real, authentic being.” OSHO, Bodhidharma: The Greatest Zen Master
