WE DO NOT KNOW HOW TO LOVE BUT WE CAN LEARN IT
When we enter into relationships our efforts to maintain love result in conflict, disappointment and frustration and we often find ourselves repeating the same painful patterns in relationship after relationship.
The problem is deep wounds we carry within us that lead to dependency and isolation.
In Learning Love 1 we work with the three main wounds: the wound of shame, the wound of shock and the wound of abandonment and separation. These three wounds are the source of all our conflicts and difficulties in relationships.
This process offers a specific exploration of the wounded layer. Each person can, in their own time, meet this hidden and delicate part.
Accessing this inner space opens the door to our experience and through connecting and expressing our true emotions we become more connected to ourselves and learn to create and experience true intimacy.
MAIN PURPOSE
This workshop is primarily experiential and allows us to get in touch with our true Essence, discover who we are, develop a real sense of self-efficacy and self-esteem and be reopened to love. Specific tools are taught for conflict resolution, learning to set healthy boundaries and becoming able to express one’s needs simply and clearly.
APPROACH AND METHODOLOGY
Tools such as awareness practice exercises, guided meditations, active meditations, teachings, pair and group experiential exercises, individual enquiry and sharing are used.
The Learning Love Model is used as the main basis, as well as specific tools such as Somatic Experiencing, Peri and Pre-Christmas Therapy, the Neuroaffective Relational Model and Compassion Focusing.
WHO IT IS ADDRESSED TO
The workshop is open to everyone, but is especially aimed at those who, at this time in their lives, feel they have something unfinished with love, those who want to walk the path to learning to love themselves again and learn the art of creating honest and mature intimate relationships. By coming out of the shell of protection and isolation, you can finally invite love into your life and manifest it in healthy, fresh and nourishing relationships.
No previous experience is required and it is also suitable for first-timers participants.
WHAT YOU LEARN
The main benefit is the knowledge of parts of oneself that, if not met, manifest mechanically and without control, sabotaging our lives. Hence the change with the decrease of automatic behaviours that undermine our relationships, health, work and creativity.
THE ART OF LOVE
In this course you breathe a sense of trust, of meeting yourself, learn a new insight into the art of love, intimacy and compassion; access a deep sense of relaxation, honesty and acceptance.
The work is not confrontational or pushy.
You will be asked not to bring your mobile phone into the group room and Buddha Hall.
“Fear means only one thing: losing the known and entering into the unknown. Courage is just the opposite of fear. Always be ready to drop the known — more than willing to drop it — not even waiting for it to be ripe. Just jump on something that is new… its very newness, its very freshness, is so alluring. Then there is courage […]
Courage will come to you. Just start with a simple formula: Never miss the unknown. Always choose the unknown and go headlong. Even if you suffer, it is worth it — it always pays. You always come out of it more grown up, more mature, more intelligent.” OSHO, From Misery to Enlightenment
